 DESCRIERE : Super Mario Brothers Game History Super Mario Bros. is not so much a game, but a franchise that over the years has become a household name. The game is said to be the best selling video game of all time, selling a total of 40,000,000 copies worldwide. It is also believed to be the reason for the end of the video game crash of the early 1980s. Not bad for a character that started life playing second fiddle to a giant gorilla. The History of Super Mario Bros: Anybody Call A Plumber? The game was initially released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in Japan on the 13th September 1985 and was developed and published by Nintendo. Created by Shigeru Miyamoto, Super Mario Bros. is a single or multi-player experience of the platform genre. The game proved so successful that it has inspired many other spin off products, including; A television series and a feature film that was released in 1993 and stared Bob Hoskins as Mario. |
 Sonic The Hedgehog Game History What other superlatives can be made about the little blue hedgehog that bought the world of video gaming onto it's knees, and ended Nintendo's dominance of the market. The Sonic boom was definitely heard around the world. The game had everything, looks, presentation, characters and playability in abundance. It's now hard to image the gaming world without Sonic. By November 2007 the game had amassed a total number of 4 million sales for the Sega Mega Drive alone, and is still considered by many as the greatest video game of all time. |
 Super Mario World Game History For many years Nintendo had dominated the home console market, with it's Nintendo Entertainment System. Helping lead the way was the companies flagship game and mascot Mario Bros. The first game in the series being released in 1985. In 1990 Nintendo was about to unleash it's new console on the world, tentatively called the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and the launch title that was going to be released along side it, Super Mario World. The History of Super Mario World The game was released on the S.N.E.S for the Japanese market on November 21st 1990. Released under the title of “Super Mario Bros. 4” the game was once again produced by Shigeru Miyamoto, and like all other Mario Bros. versions before it, was a single and two player game of the platform genre. |
